Hey guys,
I have been a long time member of this newsgroup, and finally I have decided to write and share my experiences.
I was wondering if there is anyone out there interviewing at PCOM on April 4th. PCOM is my first choice and I am very excited to have an invite for an interview there. Any help/advice you guys can offer, I would greatly appreciate it. I also want to know how you guys went about preparing for the interview. I have a mock interview scheduled with my pre-med advisor and I have been talking to some class-mates about their interviewing experience. And ofcourse I have been reading up on all that has been mentioned on this site. 🙄 Is there anything else I can do?
Any suggestions will be appreciated 😛
Good Luck to everyone out there. 😎

These 2 sites should really help you out.

PCOM's interview was very laid back. An overall positive experience. Make sure you are confident, know about osteopathic medicine, and know about PCOM.

The students and faculty there are great and I am sure you will enjoy your visit.

Don't stress out about it too much.

Good luck!

Usually PCOM has 2 to 3 people interview you so practice moving your head.

I know it sounds stupid, but people tend to talk to the person that asked the questions.

You want to make sure each interviewer hears you clearly.

Good Luck

I got into PCOM a couple weeks ago but I turned it down for NOVA. Plus I'm waitlisted at 3 allo schools.

Hey,
Congrats on your PCOM interview. I had one in February and it went well. It's really laid back. They asked me an ethics question and a lot about osteopathic medicine. But then at the end, we talked about running for a while becuase I run and the doctor I was interviewing with too did. Just be yourself and the conversation will go wherever you take it. Good luck!
