Hi everyone 🙂
I have just scheduled an interview with Ross at their Michigan office. Can someone please give me some suggestions for preparing for the interview? i.e. what sorta questions are typically asked?
Thanks!

they got a michigan office ? DO they have a texas office to? Im waiting to hear back about my application. It is being reviewed.

welp Im getting my interview in Cali.

you guys that are considering ross, do you check out any other messageboards for help or questions? I suggest the forum at http://planetross.tripod.com

Imbebo: Yeah, there's an office in Michigan..when's your interview at Cali?

I just receive a letter from Admissions and they offer me to schedule an interview either at Florida or Michigan, does it really matter? I mean, for admissions?
Thanks

hey all....I was interviewed at ross early in december...mine was at the NY office (before they moved to NJ).......the interview was very laid back as expected.....I was asked about why I wanna be a doctor....name 3 of my strong points and of my weak ones.....umm....I was also asked about my opinion in stem cell research...then I was asked about my favorite subject during my undergrad...I think thats it....oh no....I was also asked if I had the chance of meeting face to face with the admission committee, what would I tell them exactly .

Hope that help,

wish u all the best

IOE, thanks for the pointers. I dont interview until March unfortunatly.

anyone been able to schedule an interview at their NJ office?

I wasn't given a choice. I got a call from the Cali office saying they were instructed by the NJ office to setup an interview time with me.

IOE: thanks for the headsup! how many ppl (the admissions committee) interviewed you and how long did it lasted? Did it took them long to give you a reply on the results from the interview? just outta curiousity, are you planning on attending Ross anytime in the near future?

everyone's been telling me it's a pretty laid back interview for Ross...i hope i'll do fine..

I got the letter today about the interview and gave me the option of having it done in Miami if I choose to.

As for the results I heard its 2 weeks after the interview.

If I get in, I am still unsure of what I'll be doing. I have reservations. The large class size frightens me more than anything else.

Hey Imbebo!
you mean they specifically stated an interview date for Miami in your letter? then where are you going for the interview?

it said cali but if I wished to change it to Miami I could, if I wanted to shadow some of the 5th semester students. but Ive already made arrangements for cali.

Imbebo: good luck in your interview then! mine's in feb! crossing my fingers!

well.....I had only one interviewer (the dean of admissions).....and before starting my interview she told me that the actual "admission committee members" are all back there in the island, and that she was their "eyes" by which they'll see me (i dunno if she was trying to get me more relaxed or more nervous!! anyhow...as for the result....I was told at the day of the interview that it will take around 4-5 weeks to get a reply.....it has already been more than 5 weeks since my interview. BUT, I recieved an email from her today saying that the committe has been back-logged with applicants and I should be recieving an answer anytime soon.

BTW...I applied for the sept. class......and will be attending it (if Howard rejected...god forbid).

wish u all the best!
