interview at UVA xor Beaumont?

if you could only interview at one due to time conflicts, would you elect to visit either the University of Virginia or William Beaumont??

It depends on many factors. Perhaps you could give us a brief blurb about your future goals and which part of the country you would prefer to get your first job.

my future goals include academia with teaching and research (possibly onc imaging, basic science, and/or clinical). geographically, i would love to work in hawaii after residency, but given the slim chance of that i would be happy at a center of excellence with access to good schools, short commutes, low crime, and the great outdoors. thanks for your advice!

I would go with Beaumont, but that's just me.

No disrespect to UVA, but unless Viriginia is an important geographic consideration for you, you're nuts if you don't choose Beaumont
