interview before LOR's received?

Did anyone get an interview invite before LOR's were sent to the School?
I won't have my committee letter until mid to late september, and now with the new centralized app. service, admissions are supposed to open july 15th - thats 6 weeks earlier than usual for PCO and NECO! September used to be early to apply, now it just got a lot later.🙁

Apps to each school will open just like usual...usually aug. 1 or sept 1. Optomcas will launch July 15...this is when you can start filling it out not send.

This might not be true for each school... OP should check the dates for each school s/he plans on applying to, not expect that all will stay as they were this previous year.

I have e-mailed the schools I am interested in to find out for sure when they will begin accepting apps. So far, SUNY's date is 7/15/09. (which coincides with the OptomCAS launch but is actually 2 weeks later than before - they used to open up 7/1/09 I think). Waiting to hear back from ICO, PCO, SCO, NECO.

I'm hoping that the 9/1 schools stay at 9/1, and that the schools that start earlier will schedule an interview without LOR's. I know they do it without OATs.
