I will be taking my Step 2 CK at the end of October, and most likely will not be recieving my score until late November/early December. Is it okay to have an interview before recieving my CK score? How do programs look at this? I am applying for internal medicine and got a 230 on step 1. I would really like to start scheduling my interviews for November. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I don't think it's an issue at all. I'm not taking CK until November and have already received interview offers, most of which I've scheduled before I'll get the report. Programs know approximately when you'll get your scores based on the information you gave eras. If they didn't want to interview you until you got your ck score, they wouldn't offer you an interview before that time.

Ditto. Taking Step 2CK in November after I will have already gone on several interviews. I wouldn't give it a second thought. Are you an IMG?

I'm applying IM, and I am in the same boat as you. I've scheduled interviews already and will take Step 2CK in November.

I will take Step 2CS probably in January or February.
