I have interview coming up within two weeks, I want some help in answering some of the questions since this will be my first interview ever in my pharmacy admission search..

1- introduce yourself( i know but this question can be very tricky)

2- what are some of the challenges that pharmacy face in the future ?

3- what makes you distinctive amongst other applicants?

1. this should be easy, your name, age, place of resident, major in college, reason for pharmacy, work, research experiences
2. less federal funding for medical insurances, lead to higher copay, and people b*tching at pickup
3. weird talents like playing the flute with your big toes or something that will make them remember you

So, there might not be a high response to this thread because there is a section of this website where people outline their interview experiences that is organized by school, already. You can find it on the SDN homepage at the top under 'Interview Feedback'.

Also those are questions you should be able to answer on your own. Two of those are personal questions and the other one requires you to do your own research.

yeah honestly I think you should be able to come up with your own answers to #1 and 3 in my opinion

guys come on.. the first question sounds easy,,but i have been involved in many job interviews ,,,and on the spot,,this question is the hardest,,i am sure the pharmacy admission comittee look for specifc answers in this question.

I'd say:
1/ College
2/ Major
3/ Work/Volunteer/ Research experience
4/ Link those experiences to your decision of becoming a pharmacist
5/ End with what you do for fun

Keep it short, maybe 2 min or sth like that. Don't go on and on because that could drive them crazy...lol
