I am trying to plan my Western interview, which can be scheduled Feb 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 11th, 12th , 14th or 15th. I could not log in to see the available dates last night when I got the interview invite, so I tentatively planned to fly out to Portland and go to the Edinburgh info session (I was accepted there already and have a friend in Portland that I could stay with) and then fly down to CA for the Western interview and then fly back home from there. I am on the East Coast but figured this would be easier than going to NY for their other info session on the 7th, plus I wouldn't need to get a hotel room or anything since I can stay with my friend.
I am in state for Tufts and am hoping for a Tufts interview. They emailed awhile back saying the interviews were tentatively for the 6th, 7th, 11th, 12th or 13th. I am a little nervous now to schedule a trip to the other end of the country in case I get a Tufts interview. Do I plan the trip and hope that I get a Tufts interview later in the week (and that I get on at all😉 ) Or do I plan as cautiously as possible and fly back and forth to each?
Sorry if this is confusing! I am a little confused myself as how to plan everything!🙂

I would plan it so you spend as little time across the country as possible - if you can hit up the info session and the interview in one trip then go for it. You could also call up Tufts and explain the situation just to find out how flexible they are about switching dates. I know OSU is really good about giving an option of dates, so perhaps Tufts is the same way.

Thanks! I thought Tufts was usually not very flexible, but I will call and find out. I was thinking I could go fly over for the Edinburgh info session on the 5th and then fly back for the Western interview on 15th, but I have a Mississippi interview on the 20th and I don't want to be exhausted by the time I get there either! I feel like I might be putting the cart before the horses by planning around an interview that I don't have yet, but I would be so disappointed if I ended up 2,000 miles away from where I need to be! 🙂

Wow, I totally freaked out when I was skimming this post and saw the words "Tufts" and "interview" in the same sentence. Had to read it more carefully. They seriously need to let us know already; I'm just about pulling my hair out. 😳

Haha, I know exactly how you feel! I think I'm starting to get grey hairs!
