Hi guys

I have two interviews that I need to pick the dates for.

One is Einstein and the other one is Pittsburgh. I have one other school that I'm going in for interview early Sept, but the format is MMI.

So I think I'm sort of categorizing Einstein and Pittsburgh together since they are both traditional interview style.

The thing is, I'm not sure which school I should pick to be interviewed before the other.
I know that many people say that first interview is always the worst one just cuz you get nervous, and as you go in for more interviews you start to get used to it and do better..

However, I also know that interviewing early is better than later. Right now. I have both of those schools planned to be interviewed on Octobober, but can't decide which dates to pick considering the things I just mentioned. I guess it all comes down to where I want to get into more, but to be honest I think I'll be more than thankful to get into either one of those schools!!!

I'd appreciate some thoughts!

is there no way to fully prepare for the first one? now i'm nervous about bombing it! 🙁

if einstein does rolling admission, do einstein first. pitt is non-rolling, so even though the committee meets throughout the cycle, there's no huge difference between interviewing october 1 vs interviewing october 15 or whatever. if you interview early in october at einstein, you might be reviewed in time for the first batch of acceptances (just speculation...i have no idea how einstein works or when they release acceptances)

and just to calm your nerves - i got accepted to the first two schools i interviewed at (october and november interviews) as well as my last interview (february). the ones in the middle, when i was supposedly "more prepared" all resulted in waitlists. ymmv but first interviews are not as hard as they may seem, especially if you've interviewed for a job before or had mock interviews.
