I have heard in the past that most/almost all plastics interviews fall on Fridays and Saturdays... anyone know how true this is?

absolutely not true at all. I had as many Thurs, Mon, and Tues interviews as I did on Fri or Sat. I think one program even interviewed on Sun this past year. If you are planning on interviewing many places and feel you have a strong application, you should plan on taking Dec/Jan completely off rotations.
