Interview Dress Code

I have some interviews coming up, and I was wondering if it's OK to wear pants instead of the traditional skirt to interviews? I'm only concerned because some of my schools are on the east coast and it seems pretty cold to wear a skirt. Thanks

I've been to some interviews where both were worn. I don't think it matters as long as you look professional.

I agree totally. If you are going to be at interviews in cold or snowy weather, it is certainly appropriate to wear pants. If you are truly worried, pack a skirt in a small bag, when you get to the interview change in the women's room, change back on your way out.
