Please post your interview experience here. I have a nycpm interview coming up and just want to know how the interview day goes and what are the general questions that are asked in the interview??

Thanks.

Went last week and it was very easy going. Mine went: come in, see a video, do your two interviews, tour the clinic and hang out for 30 minutes or so, lunch. tour of the building, and then a final meeting with the admissions people, and your off heading home.

As for the interviews, I had one with a doctor of the clinical studies and the other with a 3rd year student. The doctor was doing more probing with the question list in front of him (why nycpm? podiatry? oh you took the dat, why? how was undergrad? etc) while with the 3rd year there was some questioning, but more just talking back and forth about school. Both were pretty easy, no stress. The days leading up to it, I went over the website and information from their school, went over the questions on the SDN interview feedback page, and also came up with my own questions to ask (which I wrote down on a notepad, brought with me, and was able to bring it out and ask them to the doctor).

Very helpful. Thanks. How did you like the school overall?
