Interview Feedback!!

They are still there! The section was just recently redesigned that makes it a bit more difficult to navigate to, so you just have to look a little harder. When you click Interview Feedback at the top of the page, a new page appears. Click on the bullet point under 'School Interview Feedback' that says 'All Schools.' Now under 'Choose a School Type,' choose Pharmacy School. Then select the school you are interested and a page of the school's info pops up. At the top right, there is a small box that says 'School Review: Coming Soon!' and underneath that 'Interview Feedback: View Survey Results.' Click on that! The interview questions are actually now tabbed so you're gonna have to go down to the tab that says 'Questions' and click on the plus sign next to it. Below it are listed the questions, but they are hidden so you have to click 'show comments' to actually be able to see it.

This new tabbing system is not perfectly designed but at least it groups the questions together which makes it easier to view all the questions at one time.
 
The new design is an AWFUL replacement for the old system. The new one might be nice in addition to the old one, but it has one nuclear-level flaw, you can't see all the answers given by each individual. That's actually a REALLY IMPORTANT part of drawing useful info out of this data.

I like the new design better since you don't have to keep going back to click on the next person's feedback, however, I definitely agree with the flaw you've spoke of. It is nicer to be able to see how people answered.
 
Hello all. I have an interview next week and I don't know how to prepare for it. Should I memorize the answers that I've come up with to the common questions they may ask? I'm bad at interview because English is not my native language. What would you do if they ask you a question or put you on the spot and you can't answer it? Thanks.

I've had a question like that before, and I just took some time to think of what to say. Sometimes saying even a little bit of what's on your mind will remind you of something that you can explain or discuss.

There are many topics on this subject throughout the forums.

First, I would definitely not memorize your answers. If you do memorize them, do not make it sound like you rehearsed it. They want to see how you act in person. You are not a robot and you should be able to be casual and have a conversation and speak your mind. Try to be compassionate and let your reasonings for pursuing pharmacy really shine.

There is not much to say about being on the spot. If you are on the spot, that means you weren't really prepared after all right? If that the case, keep your composure, breath and THINK. You need to be an active critical thinker in this field. Best of luck to you.
 
I would look at interview feedback and come up with answers for them. don't necessarily memorize your answers but just have a general idea of what you would say if you were to answer those types of questions. I know there were certain classes, events and activities that I was a part of that I wanted the interviewers to know so when they asked me questions I geared my answers towards those things. Honestly just be yourself and if you can't answer a question just try the best you can!
 
the interview is all about communication skills and how your character is. the best thing when going into an interview is to think how you would act or answer this question if you were a pharmacist. they are not looking for who you are, but how you are in terms of being a pharmacist. I strongly suggest to go in with a few questions about the program because it shows you are interested about the program. If your question has been asked already or answered, try to make up a couple on the spot or more elaborate/piggyback questions.

If you are stuck on a question or don't understand, just ask them to repeat the question. sometimes they will rephrase it for you. I suggest to you if are stuck or can't find an answer right away is to breathe, do not say UM or anyword like that, and it is good to take a few seconds to think about it then answer the question if you can. These are a few of my suggestions

What to include: Professional stuff. I'm sure you can think of plenty of things that you know are professional. If you're having doubts on whether a certain topic is professional or unprofessional, there's probably a good chance that you should leave it out.

Any research or volunteer experience you've had might be good, along with what you have learned from them.

For that question I basically went over my resume. At the end I added things I like to do outside of school like lift weights and modify my car.
 
i thought this was a time to include stuff that's not addressed in your resume/application like actual hobbies or info about yourself.

it'll definitely be safer to stick to the professional details though.

You know, I have had two interviews so far and this question has come up both times. Both times the person who I was talking liked it that I said something different than the rest of the candidates. Most candidates go into interviews just to "tickle" the ears of the interviewer. I told them the truth, what I like to do. Mix it up with professional and unprofessional things. In order to catch their ear you have to "stand out" from the rest of the candidates you are competing in interviews with. This is actually a really good question to distinguish yourself from the other candidates, I felt that anyways. Especially with an open file, saying stuff that coincides with what you put in the file is a plus as well.👍

Tell it like how it is. They just want to know you in person a bit more. Be genuine and honest about it and have fun.

scenario: you are in the hot seat, people are looking up and down at you. Then a person came out of nowhere and ask you an unexpected question. It's like that. Act sincere and tell them how it is.

Thanks!.....I'm just starting to be calm about it since I've known for a while I think I'm well prepared....I hope.
 
What happened to the feedback section where students provided the questions they were asked for all the schools?

I only see bars and graphs. that's not what I'm looking for though.

does anyone know the link to it? I had it stored on my computer but when it clicked on it its gone.

I think they changed it. If you click on the + in the sections, it'll list the questions and responses from people who left feedback. It took me awhile to figure out what was going on.
 
That is correct. If you scroll all the way to the bottom and click on each one they will expand to show the results.

I definitely agree. It's at least a little better now since they include the interview dates. I hated how it was just a huge list of questions and you had no clue how old they were.

My thing is you could discard certain reviews because you could tell either a person was biased or had a singular bad experience. With everything mixed together, you can't pick those out anymore. That's my big beef, it got rid of the individuals experience and replaced it with a mass experience.
 
How come I can't access the interview feeedback thread? I don't see any questions being posted from the students? Is the website down or wat? Can someone please post the link?

I would be having an interview at NEOUCOM pharmacy school next week. I would like to know the possible questions normally posed during interviews. What one should do/say and don't so/say. I need advices/tips please.
