Hey everyone,
I just got a letter in the mail inviting me to Buffalo Dental for an interview in a few weeks. I am really excited to go up there and see the school and hopefully make a good impression on them. I would love to get accepted to the early assurance program. Does anyone have any advice for the interview or suggestions? Anyone already attend Buffalo Dental and have some info on it? Please get back to me 🙂!

also did anyone else get an interview/apply for early assurance at buffalo?

i was going to, but i didn't have enough work done for them, which is bullsh since i have a ridic amount of credits. just not in what they wanted -_- but i digress.

i would search through this forum and check out some why buffalo threads or whatever.

is buff the only early assurance school?

aw. I'm not sure if there are others. not that I know of but I think Wagner has some program with a dental school...you have to be a student there though.

Just be yourself. Our interviews are pretty laid back. They tend to be more about selling the program to applicants and getting a general feel for the applicant. If you got the interview, you are good enough on paper. Now they just want to make sure that they think you would fit in here and all that really means is that you will be able to get along well with other students and the faculty.

I got in through the Early Assurance program last year and the interview isn't bad at all. I was interviewed by two professors and was only asked maybe 5 questions. They had a few different rooms set up for interviews and will call you back one at a time. My interview was really short and I'm guessing took maybe 20 minutes, while others were in there for a much longer time. I would just recommend looking through interview questions, know why you want to go to dental school, why UB, and also what would be your favorite and least favorite aspects of the job.

This is some pretty specific advice everyone! vicsin, I will be interviewing at Buffalo that day as well! I wish you luck and hope that we can both make it successfully through this interview!

-sidenote, does buffalo ask about current issues in dentistry? either way i was hoping to do some research on that, can anyone suggest a good starting point?

Hi there i just wanted to know what kinds of grades you had, if you don't mind!
