I heard that the interviewers ask abt describing ourselves.how do u do it?I mean how u start and explain abt urself.Any one there plse help me. 😕

First of all be yourself. When you describe yourself talk about your good qualities. Are you organized, detail oriented, quick learner, focused on your goal etc. You can throw in a negative, but then talk about how you are human and trying to work on it. Be excited about what you are trying to do. Most of all like I said be yourself, they can see right through you if you are just telling them what they want to hear.

I agree, be yourself. I have had a very checkered past, good and bad (only good for the past seven years). In addition I am older and have three kids. I thought that this would all be strikes against me. In the end I decided to be 100% honest, by doing so I was more relaxed and had great interviews and got accepted to my top 3 choices. The year before I had applied just to see if I could get in without my batchlors and I had tried to only highlight my good points, I wrote my letter according to all the books on how to write a great letter, I interviewed like all the books said to interview. I believe in the end it made me look like everyone else and they saw right through it.
So, just relax, you know what you want, and they just want to make sure of that. Dental schools do not want to give a seat to someone who might quit if they do they lose four years of tuition and there is one less dentist to take their place when they want to retire. Prove to them that you won't quit by being honest.

Hi! I have not been interviewed at BU so I can't say what they want. But if u read other posts, They all say, be yourself. Thats the best. Also when did u get your interview and when did u apply/clear your part 1

Dear pkm
I did my part 1 in Dec. So I applied very late for this year. Got rejected for UPenn, I still have BU interview. NYU has asked some more documents and SUNY will tell me know in June.

even I got rejected frm uop.But its ok.as many people said that it doesnt have much facilities as other college.
