Last year I applied to a school and received an instant interview invite. However, this year, I was placed on an interview waitlist even though my application has only changed with adding more experiences.

How should I proceed?

I'm already looking in gaining more volunteering hours which was suggested by the admissions director. I'm just looking for other ideas to get that interview.

Maybe that school just doesnt like reapplicants, or the competition is a lot tougher. Most likely the former tho.

Ask anyone you know who might work in an HR capacity
