Is anyone interested in a room-sharing list for saving a little money on the interview trail?😳

My first interview is Nov 5th and William Beaumont, then Nov 6th and UMICH

Has anyone come across programs that pay for housing or travel? Is that not normal in OB? I've heard that some programs in other specialties, like Anesthesiology and Radiology, offer free rooms and travel money. I was quite jealous when I found this out!

Mayo OB/gyn pays for the hotel the night before your interview.

LOL, I just found this post 2 minutes after booking a few hotel rooms....oh well!

Maine Medical pays for the hotel room the night before.
I heard Baystate does the same as well.

Still looking for housing for the following..
Stamford, CT 12/4
Asheville, NC 12/12
Madison, WI 12/15

Last year some people from my school used this site, www.myinterviewtrail.com

You enter in your "itinerary" and it'll send/swap e-mail addresses of people who are interviewing at that institution on the same day (not necessarily the same program).

Its usefulness last year was limited by the few people who actually used it, maybe this year will be better. It is free.
