just got my very first interview invite, which is from touro CA. it seems like there will be a lot of activity in Oct, since that seems like when most schools will be sending out letters.

I got an invite via email today to Midwestern-Chicago for the October 15th interview session.

I submitted my pharmcas on August 20th and the Supplemental on August 22nd. I got the invite today (September 25th)

haha nope i didnt get that. what day is your interview?
It just sucks that the closest airport is over an hour away. I think my mom's coming with me b/c I cant rent a car and navigate highways by myself lol

So.. i got a interview from Touro on 9/13!!! whoo hoo!! so.. those who got your interview from touro, which hotel are you staying at?? OR those who have been invited previously, where did you stay?

I've read in the dental posts that Loma Linda has already started sending out invitations for interviews. Since it's one of my top choices, I want to ask those who have gotten (or will get) Loma Linda interview invites to please post here!! Thanks!

I applied to LLU too but did not hear anything from them. I don't know "no new is good new" or my app does not mean anything to them

I called LLU this past week and they said they've already begun reviewing applicants who have completed their application. They told me that their earliest interview will be in November, and they'll be contacting desired applicants to fill their first interview spaces within these 2 weeks. Good luck to you!!

Edit on 10/16: LLU called me yesterday and my interview will be on Nov 16th!! To answer the original post of this thread: I submitted my online application on 6/11 and they called me on 10/15. I've only applied to 2 so far, and LLU's my first response.

Unfortunately, outlook filtered this email as junk mail and I did not open it until this week so I couldn't RSVP nor attend the October interview. was the october interview process something all applicants go through or is it an actual interview where the next step would be knowing whether you got accepted or not.

I interviewed with Howard Univ last year, and it's a closed-file interview, so the interviewers have no idea what or how you did in school. So.. spill the beans during the interview. Sell yourself, let them know you were president of pharmacy club and list all your volunteer work when they ask you what you did outside of the academics. That's my 2 cents worth =)

I had an interview for UOP on 11/16 and one for Western U on 12/8. I applied in June for both these schools. Have yet to hear from Touro or UCSD.
