Interview invites and official DAT score

Do any of you know if schools will invite u for interviews before they have your official DAT scores sent from the ADA (considering youve sent/faxed them your unnoficial copy) ? Im just worried b/c ive heard of so many problems with the ADA sending out score.

I'm guessing the answer is no. I'm basing that on the fact that all the schools that I've applied to have my scores from last year, but I'm in a hold status until I retake the DAT this month as I stated on my app.

I spoke with Pacific and faxed over my unofficial scores from Prometric. They said that they would not recieve officials for up to a month, but did say that I would get an interview invite in two weeks. So my guess is that it matters which school. Some schools I am applying to would not even accept a fax.

ya they do. my friend got an invitation from san antonio a week before he took his second dats.

It probably depends on the school. I got an interview at Minnesota. After the interview, they told me they still didn't have my official DAT scores. I emailed the ADA and the lady that helped me was SUPER nice and sent out my scores that same day. The school received them 2 days later. She also told me that schools have online access to your scores, so depending on the school, it might not even matter if your paper copy got there.
