Interview Invites On The Weekend?

Has anyone received an invitation on the weekend? (In other words, can I take the weekend off checking my e-mail every hour on the hour for "new messages"?) It's driving me crazy!!!!

all of my invites have come on weekdays (mostly wed-fri for whatever reason). relax, good sir. program coordinators are usually working adults who take the weekend off, not crazy med students. go have a cold beer and check your email again on monday.

my interview invites have all come around the same time on either wednesday or friday- weird. It's funny because I get excited about getting one, then anouther comes within a matter minutes.

I did get one interview invite on a Saturday. I think it just depends on when the committee makes decisions and when the program coordinator sends out/responds to e-mails.

I got one on a weekend, I've gotten more than one after 5pm, and my friend got a phone call after 9pm.

My first one I got on a Sunday. That is weird in retrospect

I got one at 3am one time. On a Saturday. So maybe the PD was working an overnight, and was bored or something. Who knows.

I received a reject on a Sunday. All my invites seem to be Mon, Tue & Thurs.

Columbus Day. I had no idea until like 3pm when the mail didn't ever come!!
