For those of you who have already been through the process of applying to MD/PhD and MST programs, did you guys receive interview invites a little later than regular MD interview invites? The reason I'm asking is because I know that some Texas schools send out interview invitations starting July for the MD only programs and I was wondering if the MD/PhD programs are just a little slower. Thanks!

Calm down. MD/PhD programs do tend to be slower, but July is even really early for MD programs. You should expect to start hearing things in more like August/September, and in many cases much later. For example, I had my apps in very early, and I was still getting invites in January.

Some programs may invite you early but will schedule interviews later in the fall. Sure, you're compadres that apply to MD programs will get interviews much earlier...don't let this discourage you.
