Hey everyone, I have an interview to ShenCP... and I was going through my travel plans... the cost of attending this interview is approximately... $800 ~ is it worth it? (Hotel/Airline ticket/Car) not including food...

I have a total of four interview request so far. Is it worth it?

***It would be cheaper if I could find someone to share a car... if anyone is going to the interview that is.

it's really up to you, but i went to the interview yesterday and liked the people there a lot. they were extremely friendly and talkative. i guess, just prioritize your schools, do a little more research and see if there's a chance that you'd be happy there.

It's an individual choice. Are you one of theose applicant that are just satisfied with getting into ANY school versus having to wait another year? If so, you should maximize your opportunities and go to the interview. I think $800 is worth it if it means getting into pharmacy school one year earlier. But then how do you know the $800 won't be a total loss (what if you went to the interview and don't get accepted)? Well, we can only take things one step at a time. If you don't spend the 800 then surely shenandoah is out of the picture...if 800 can buy you a chance(not everyone gets this chance) then atleast you won't regret it later thinking what if if I had went to that interview?
Also, you mentioned that you had other interviews. How sure are you that you are going to be accepted? How much preference do you have for Shenandoah as compared to your other schools? $800 seems like a lot right now, but its only a small fraction in the long run.
