when interveiws come, do we arrange a date that fits both applicant and program, ie, "we would like to offer you an i/v, please contact so and so to arrange a time and date", OR do you get an invite saying "youre scheduled for an i/v November 17 at 3:15 PM"

mine have been an invite, with a list of avail dates. then, you call up and schedule the date that you want, as long as there is space available.
