Now that I recieved an interview, now what?

When you guys took a flight, did you arrive the evening before the interview, the afternoon before the interview or a day before the interview? I don't know how often planes are late.

Did you guys rent a car? Or did you guys get a taxi from the hotel to the school in the morning.

I'm guessing there are those carpool things that take you to the hotel from the airport depending on the hotel.

Did you stick your suit in the carryon luggage?

Personally, I am trying to arrive no later than the afternoon before. As far as car rental, that is up to you. The COmfort Inn near NSU has a shuttle from the airport, to the hotel, and from hotel--->NSU. Car rental can be expensive but if you dont mind paying I am sure it is good for peace of mind.
Also, I am putting my suit in checked baggage. I know there is the nightmare episode of your luggage getting lost but I dont see how you can get a suitcase small enough for carryon and still be able to put your suit in it without it looking bad when you take it out.

I tried to arrive early afternoon the day before and I always rented a car(for my own sanity). I brought a GPS with me to get around. I checked my suit bag each time.

Yeah, I am currently debating the suit thing. I think at the worst, if it is lost, you will get someone ringing the bell at 3am returning it. That is the latest I have ever had a lost item returned to me.

I am renting a car because it is cheaper for me, as I am 25+. Getting a taxi can be just as expensive, and I worry they will be late getting me. Not to mention it is nice to drive around the evening before and get oriented.

I am over 25 as well, the best car rental deals i found was through priceline.com name your own price... it often got me 50% off the lowest online rates i could find.

Are you kidding me? I will have to check it out. I am getting charged 60$ a day in Tampa, I may cancel and check out priceline.
