Yea it's Owl City,their cd Ocean Eyes is good. But not as good as The Postal Service which is the same style. But I digress, that song is a good sing a long song , I was at a bar the other night and it came on...pretty much everyone was singing , very upbeat.

(Btw, I'm jealous that you were at a bar yesterday.. I want to be at a bar too! Instead, I am painting my apartment and moving things. Boo)

I thought that was Postal Service/DC4C at first! I used my handy song-identifying app on my iPhone to learn the real artist... but it coulda fooled me otherwise. I like the song too.

Okay so I have something I do before interviews but it isn't music and it's terribly nerdy...it is sort of a mantra from a scifi/fantasy book that was turned into a movie. It is called the litany of fear from Dune.

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain

Oh man, I know! Give Up is definitely one of my favorite albums ("The District Sleeps Alone Tonight"...so good). I hope they do another one in the future, but I heard that they weren't planning on it 😡.
