Hi, I have not been able to find much of a discussion about what materials people have found useful to prepare for interviews. If you have found anything in particular that has been useful, please throw it in there. Thanks!

I thought I would start it off...

I have read a few versions of "How to prep for the med school interview." Ironically, the one book I found that was most helpful was not one of these books! I read Decision Assessment and Counseling in Abortion Care: Philosophy and Practice by Alissa Perrucci. It is the single book that has helped me find the words to talk about interacting with difficult patients, finding empathetic ways of thinking about scenarios and presenting/breaking down moral dilemmas in an organized and compassionate way. You don't have to have any relation to abortion care in particular--it applies to many patient interaction scenarios. Though, ethical discussions of abortion have come up in both my MMI and interview and I felt this book had my back.

What works for you? Thanks!!
