So I was getting ready for my interview at my top choice school. I got up at 7:00 am, did my hair, make up, and all. I took out my suit and as I pulled the skirt out I realized I grabbed the wrong thing when I was packing and instead I brought a pair of short black shorts that I wear going out x_x.

I freaked out for a few minutes but I was staying with a friend who had a skirt to lend me. I had to roll it up cause it was too big and put a belt on but I managed to cover the awkward parts with my jacket and make it work. I can't believe I did that. I was lucky that I was with a friend and not at a hotel where I would be completely helpless in finding a suitable thing to wear!

Anyone else have some "interview nightmares" they wanna share?

lolol, but on the reals good job on being resourceful! and childish gambino ftw

My first interview:

I packed everything carefully and checked my suit + bag million times. I didnt even forget my floss and gum. I realized that I forgot the belt the night before the interview aaa.

Went straight to the nearest Walmart with my rental car (thank god i had a car and an iPhone for GPS).

Hey, I thought you were a dude this whole time haha. When you said the words "did my hair" I'm thinking what a pansy lol but then realized you were a girl when you said "make up".

What dude would have a username of Vicsin? lol

I forgot my belt at one of my interviews... I didn't really care because the interviewer could not see it (or the lack of it) when I was sitting down, or when my jacket was buttoned up.

Come to think of it, I did have a near nightmare at one of my interviews...

I was away for my UConn interview a few weeks ago. I realized I forgot my belt the night before the interview, so I was going to leave early the next morning so that I could go pick up a belt before hand. The morning of my interview I left an hour early to go buy a belt. I found a mall on the GPS in my rental car and proceeded to head there. Unfortunately this took me really far away from where I thought it was supposed to be taking me... Not good. Eventually, when the GPS said I had "arrived", I was in the middle of B.F.E. surrounded by farms... I looked around, but nope, no Nordstrom here! I decided that I could not risk checking for another place, so I decided to head to the hospital for the interview. I felt comfortable with my timing at this point because yesterday I scoped out the hospital and found where i was going to park, where I needed to go, etc. I got there about 15 min before I was scheduled to arrive, only to find the EVERY parking spot was taken. Not one was left... I helplessly looked for a spot, but there was nothing. F**K. I eventually had to park at a retirement home and jog all the way up to the hospital. By the time I got there, I was sweaty, annoyed as hell, belt-less, and I was 20 min late to my interview... FAIL 👎

Who knows, this might be the only place that i get in hahaha

haha, something you wear to the rat? I cant imagine really missing anything travelling, probably easier being a guy. just hoping that i dont get caught in a blizzard.

I intended to arrive 30 minutes early.. when I got there.. I realized I left my jacket at home  so I went back and got it and was still early (thank god the place was near)
