Interview offer at OHSU!

So I just got an interview offer at Oregon Health Sciences University.

I've been accepted to UNC, but live closer to Oregon. What is OHSU like? I loved UNC but don't know much about OHSU. Should I even go interview or am I crazy to even think about not going to UNC?

My brother goes to OHSU and he is not too fond of it. It may be different for some but I've talked to a few of his friends there and they say they wished they had gone to other schools they were accepted to. UNC may be a better option.

If you haven't heard much you should hear this... I visited the campus a couple times (i am originally from portland) and dental students (more than one, all the ones I talked to as a matter of fact) told me that if they were to do it over again they would not go to ohsu.

Tuition is on the sharp rise (it probably is everywhere) but more importantly, the students conveyed to me they weren't all that proud of where they went to dental school.

I don't know how you could turn down UNC.

I think that you should go to the interview and check the school out for yourself (if it is not a huge pain in the butt). i know many people that are very happy that they went to OHSU. I know and have worked with many Dr.s that have grad. from OHSU and have great things to say about the school and their patients have great things to say about the Doc's work.

UNC is also a great school, but if it wasn't your first choice maybe you should keep your options open and check out the others schools that you applied to.
