So in an interview when they ask you to talk about your shadowing experience, are you supposed to go into detail? Like knowing names of many procedures, or do you even go into the procedures you witnessed? Im asking because i didnt witness too much in my shadowing and for the most part i was just in the clinic conversating with the dentist i shadowed because the part of town he practiced was pretty dead so although i do have a good amount of hours, i didnt see very much. So at this point im pretty nervous on how to answer this question in a way that a person with good experience would. Or am i trippin out for no reason? For people who already had interviews were you asked this question and how did you answer?

Thanks ahead of time

Once you've secured an interview just be yourself, say as much as you think is necessary, watch the interviewer, all common sense. They don't expect you to know everything already, that's why there's dental school, so give them some brief descriptions to show your genuine interest rather than blabbing about how to do an extraction or something.
good luck

If all you did is gab with the good doctor, you may not have a good idea on what dentistry is all about. You could try to find someone else that is a tad busier.
