Interview Question about Research

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
This is probably just me being neurotic but:

During an interview I talked about how I originally did wet lab research for a year because one of my parents was a researcher and both parents wanted me to do wet lab research. However, I did not like it and decided to switch to clinical research instead out of personal interest. In clinical research I found myself with more opportunities to learn and grow.

Do you think my interviewers might have read into this answer that my parents pressured me into wet lab research and think that they are also pressuring me to do medicine? This is not the case and I gave very clear personal reasons why I want to pursue medicine in my "why medicine" answer.
Ah, post-interview neuroticism. My advice is to forget your interview when you leave the room - what’s done is done.

I think you’re fine, you have to think about your interview as a whole and not get fixated on these small details. However I wouldn’t phrase your answer like that in the future. Consider how you want to frame and present your experiences... passive vs active.
