Hey guys could anyone give me a quick overview of the current situation in terms of the horse slaughter ban? I know that in 2007 the final U.S. slaughter house was shut down but am I correct in that a ban has been proposed but never passed? Anyone know anything about the Prevention of Equine Cruelty Act (2009) or the Horse Transportation Safety Act (2009)?
