Do your interview evaluations depend on if you are granted acceptance? And at schools that have multiple people interviewing you, if you do well say talking with one but not so well with another are you not likely to get an acceptance? Does anyone have any feedback about not feeling confident that you did your best in an interview but were in fact accepted?

Thank you!

Does anyone feel good after an interview??

I know for some school, every interviewer has a score sheet and they score you. They then take the avg and use that.

Do you know which schools do that? How did you find out?

Because I went to one that does that. Unfortunately I can not tell you which one because I signed a contract not disclosing information about said school.

No problem, thank you for responding on the thread anyway🙂

Not sure if this will help or not, but if you can find the student handbook for schools you should read the mission statement and formulate some sort of questions/philosophy for the school. Then when they ask you "do you have any questions" you have something to say

I posted earlier about my first interview. I felt that I did poorly but december 1st, I got the call.
Interviews are nerve-racking but looking back, it's not bad. Relax and do your best, that's it.

But, I did the speed dating format for one interview. So I had 15min, 15 min, and 30 min. I just did really bad on the first 15 minutes completely blanked out and talking super fast and kept discussing how I would have trouble with the initial transition into dental school (which I have no idea why because I am not worried about that at all), forgot to ask for their contact info. But then my next 15 minutes and 30 minutes were great. It was as if I found myself again. What i am worried about is if that one interview will affect my decision.

Don't sweat it. What you should do is practice some more and avoid telling them that it will be tough for you. I always used to say " I am nervous" but I learned that when you say that you become that. In the same way, dental schools don't want to hear you say I am nervous or I will have trouble transitioning. If you get an interview, then it means that YOU ARE qualified even though subconsciously you may not feel that way.
You have no control over it so no point worrying now. Just keep practicing and improving and most of all, relax and have fun.
