That was actually one of the written questions that was asked during my interview. How could you contribute, and the potential you could bring to the student body. I thought the 'potential' part was poorly worded. I mean, what could you say? "I could bring the POTENTIAL to be hard-working?!"
But in terms of what you could bring to the optometry school, stick to an answer that isn't a cookie cutter. Actually,this question is really meant as a character assessment to find out more about who YOU are
So who are you? Are you musical, artistic, creative? And if your interested in extra curricular activities, look into clubs that are involved with that school, and explain how you can be a beneficial asset via the skills that you have. If your a great oral/ public speaker, tell them they should have you because you'd make a great ambassador. etc. Don't get too caught up with explaining your experiences, and not really talking about who you are, because most likely someone else has probably had the same experience as you.
