Interview Question...

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I have shadowed a podiatric surgeon and a podiatrist in private practice who solely does clinic work and I have learned sooo much. My question is, in the interview is it common for them to ask you questions about your experiences and procedures/surgeries you witnessed? Or are the questions more social based? I was reading some of the publications in their Journal of Podiatry and the podiatrists said that there's no way that they would ask you for knowledge of any new procedures or research, is that also true?

Any help is appreciated, I would just love to know an idea of what to expect.

No way in hell. The interview will be about your personal life and maybe academics if you have some red flags. They may ask general questions about your shadowing but nothing like poiatry knowledge info. RELAX RELAX RELAX

You may get this open ended question in your podiatry school interview:

If you got accepted to both an MD medical school in the US and an MD medical school in the Carribean, and also got accepted to podiatry school........which would you choose and why?

Or a bit more close ended:

....would you still choose podiatry school and why?

To tackle this question with flying colors depends on your life experiences, and your depth of shadowing experience with allopaths and podiatrists in their practices. Again... SHADOW SHADOW SHADOW
