How do you answer specific interview questions like.... Why do you want to come to our school specifically? I have an interview at Boston and Suny... And I would like to be prepared for these types of questions.... Any suggestions???

Look on the school's website and see what is really stands out about each school. Don't you have specific reasons as to why you applied to these schools?

There's actually a lot of posting about interviews, you might wanan take a quick search for them. I found them extremely useful. As for the schools, I think you should find out what is their "specialty". I believe that NECO is the 2nd largest research private institute.

I'll tell you what really helped me was knowing stuff about each school's faculty. I would mention things like, "I know that X% of your staff actually graduated from your school and 100-X% came from schools as diverse as Waterloo; I think that's an excellent balance because it gives me a more diverse range for the knowledge base at the school. I was particularly impressed that Dr. So-and-So, an MD, for example, came from Waterloo to teach here." Other things to throw in would be, "I know that your school has strong membership with VOSH, which is something that I was particularly looking forward to working with."

Make sure you actually know what you're talking about though, and that you do have a genuine interest in that fact -- it'll help make the interview more relaxed for you and keep it more of a conversation rather than a rehearsed set of Q. & A.

I tried looking for posting but was unsuccessful by any chance do you have any links... that would be helpful... thanks...

During my interviews a lot of applicants talked about VOSH, and in some cases it looked to me as a desperate attempt to show interest or knowledge. Just be aware of that.

J.opt makes an excellent point. It is crucial to make sure that whatever it is you bring up is something that actually is important to you. For example, I didn't just mention VOSH; it was within the context of my extra-curriculars that focused on community service and WHY it's important to me.
