Hi everyone! Does anyone have any advice on how to schedule interviews around a full time job, specifically in instances where the turn around from invite to actual interview is quite tight.

You'll need to take the day off, sometimes with short notice. You can try to request a later interview date to give your employer more time to prepare for your absence.

As @Mr.Smile12 said, PTO is your friend, as is having an understanding boss. However, if push comes to shove, call out sick. If your goal is to become a physician, your interview must take priority (unless you already have an acceptance at a place you like!). Just my thoughts.

Hey! I work full-time as a CRC for an MD. I kinda brought this up to my boss when I interviewed for the job and they are super understanding. I think it’s important for your manager to know about the process and the fact that you don’t have much control over when you need to attend an interview. I will be taking full days or half days off for the interviews using my PTO.
