Interview season is effectively over for this cycle.

If you are still waiting for interview invitations, it is important to be realistic. At this point, you should assume that additional interviews are unlikely to come. That does not mean your goals are out of reach. It does mean that now is the time to make deliberate decisions about your next steps.

First, decide whether you are going to reapply. If the answer is yes, you need to begin preparing immediately. Many successful reapplicants started strengthening their applications months ago. Catching up now requires focus and a clear strategy. This may include revising your school list, improving clinical or research exposure, strengthening your writing, and addressing any weaknesses in your prior application.

Second, if you are currently on waitlists and are serious about attending a specific program, you should begin drafting a thoughtful and professional letter of intent. A strong letter can clarify your commitment, update schools on meaningful developments, and reinforce fit.

This is not the most exciting phase of the cycle for many applicants. However, it is one of the most consequential. Smart, timely decisions made now can significantly improve outcomes.

Asclepius Advising offers structured support for both reapplicants and waitlisted candidates. We also provide free consultations for those who are still evaluating their options or are unsure how to proceed.
