Interview Situation: Same Interviewer as last time

I got called for an interview from a hospital who offered me a job 3 years ago, except 3 years ago it was for a temp position and now it's a permanent spot that they called me for. HR told me who the interviewer is and it's the same guy who interviewed me last time.

When you walk into the interview, should you mention that you remember them from last time, being that they offered it to you last time but you turned it down because you had a permanent offer on the table elsewhere?

I didn't apply for the job this time. Is it typical of employers to keep info of people who rejected offers from them?

This place is one of my dream hospitals to work at in Manhattan.

If they offered me a job last time I applied (even a per diem one), I would certainly mention that- it can't hurt to remind them that they already vetted me and liked me enough to make me an offer 3 years ago. Use the interview to show them how you've gotten even better since your last interview.

Definitely, mentioned it, you turned it down last time since it's part time. This can only give you an advantage vs. Other candidates.

I agree with Momus - definitely mention it. Say it's great to see you again, you're grateful to have this opportunity, blah blah.You were happy you were offered it 3 years ago, you really wanted to work there but at that time, you needed the financial stability of a permanent job. No one can fault you that.
