Hey everyone,

so I bought a suit for the interview cycle. I know that generally men wear 2 or 3 button suits. However, I ended up buying a 1 button navy suit because it fit me well, and it looked better than the 2 button suits I saw. Do the number of buttons really matter that much?

Thanks!

Interviewer: You know @ThiaminePyroPhosphate is a pretty good applicant, but he's a one button kind of guy. If he had two buttons, I would put "accept him" in my folder with no hesitation. But for some reason, I just can't get past his only button. Reject.

Said no one ever.

This is the most neurotic thing I've ever read. No it doesn't matter, relax!

So long as it fits you well and you look professional when you wear it, it's just fine.

Good luck with your interviews. 🙂

I'd concentrate on answering why you want to be a doc a million times more than this one button.
