Hey! Just wanted to ask about what people's experience was like at the UTRGV group interview. How would you prepare for a group interview differently from a normal interview? Did they make you problem solve as a group or did they ask each person questions? What can be expected? It sounds very vague. Any help is appreciated!

They will direct you clearly throughout your day. Be friendly and take it all in

In group interviews, it is important to psych out the competition: "I started training for the Olympics and won a bronze medal in the pole vault--just to help my chances of admission to medical school." When someone else's answer is less than it could have been, be quick with a shaving nick, "I would have thought by now that you would have learned that it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt." Don't forget your nonverbal assets, as mean-mugging can be very effective under the right circumstances. And make sure to control the clock. As soon as there are less than 10 minutes left in the interview, grab the floor and become the "slow talker", like the adorable, infuriating sloth who who works at the DMV in the movie Zootopia.
