Need to switch an interview with someone? Post here. I'll start!

Do the programs allow you to switch interview dates between the applicants?? What if there are people on the waitlist for those dates? Just curious..

yes, i believe programs do allow you to switch. it isn't unfair to waitlist applicants, as both parties switching have already received interview invitations and both wish to actually interview (rather than cancel).
 
In case you get no love here...

I had a similar situation, and I just called the program and let them know of my date preference change. While they couldn't change my date immediately, they were almost sure that it could eventually be switched, if I would only be patient enough. They made a note, and assured me that many people make last minute changes as it gets later into October and all programs release their interviews. "It happens every year", or so I was told.
 
Anyone with a Nov 26 or Dec 10 Oklahoma date willing to switch it out?
 
I'm just curious when the majority of ophthalmology interview invitation are sent out? Is there a safe date after which I should just assume I would receive any more interview invites? It's middle of October, should I start to get worried?
 
Anyone care to trade WVU?? I have Dec 10 and would prefer Dec 17.
 
I have a Buffalo interview and an Albany interview-- both on Nov 3rd. Would anyone like to switch with either of these?

I am currently signed up for the afternoon of Nov. 30th. Anybody have either of the other two days and willing to switch? I had to schedule another interview on the same day.

...or, if you'd rather not PM me, you could call the coordinator at Temple and switch to December 7th and then I should pop off the waitlist for the 8th! 😀
