Hey guys,

This cycle is the first time I will be flying and traveling for interviews across the country (last year I only had one and it was 2 hours away) and I'm a little flustered on how to go about the traveling process. When should I be booking flights, should I stay in motels/hotels or with students if available, do you plan a return flight the day of your interview, etc. Stuff like this I'm not really sure on. Anyone have any tips on how to deal with this process? Thanks.

I drove to all my interviews, so I can't help you on booking flights and such, but I'd highly highly suggest staying with a student host if it is offered. It's free, and you get to talk to the med student outside of the school/interview setting.
