hi ,
i would like to know if there is any website which i can prepare for the intervew.i know that there is an interview feedback on this forum.i would like to see for the probable answers too!!.i know this is too much:llol: no other way, please help. i got an interview call from nyu,i have a low ndb score-84. know its hard to get in there....but .....

Hi Honest,
check out the site dentaltown.com and you can find some more interview questions and tips.But I guess even if you stuble upon the site which provides you with propbable answers...please don't say them😀
The interviewers have heard them all.They can look through you.Just be true and original🙂
Btw if your name is honest it would be easy for you to be too😛

hey honest

i have got accepted in NYU n i felt the interview is laid back. just be urself n talk. prepare certain questions before but believe me they should all sound natural not monotonous.
u can get the questions from interview feedback
give a big smile, be confident, dont show any signs of anxiety

Hey Honest!!!

Congrats on your upcoming interview.. Im positive NYU will be a breeze for you.. I know ppl with lower scores than yours getting in, so don't worry at all.

Steer clear of prepared answers, but it helps to just know what kind of questions are asked.. you wont need anything more than the SDN interview feedback section.. take a look at the questions so that you're more confident of whats coming when you're in front of the interviewer, but don't make up the answers before hand.

NYU looks at personality, and like its been said time and time again.. once you're at the interview your scores don't matter.. they're looking at you, the person.. so make sure you have your best foot forward.

And yeah like Pinky says.. honesty is the best policy and with a name like yours Im sure it comes naturally to you.. 🙂 good luck.

i know honesty is the best policy,and i will try not to be dishonest at interiew.lol.but the problem is they are even rejecting people with 89 scores now.i think there class is almost full by now. did anybody with dec 03 ndb scores called for the interview?? i heard that there is a ong waiting list for nyu now..since nyu have the most number of seats ,its the school with the most probable chance.if rejected nyu i dont know what to do?? when they reject even 89 ndb scores i am losing my motivation to take ndb again...you guys know anything else we can do with an ndb score??🙁

I sincerely don't believe that you should start thinking of retaking Part I,Go with a postive attitude and hope for the best.
Don't assume the results before hand..

i know a person who scored good enough dint get in NYU but the reason is that person never opened mouth n did not answer to simple questions. i guess that explains. ur gonna be a dentist n u cant afford to be that shy.
so u dont have to be scared afterall they r human
all they wanna know is if u have some potential
believe me u will get in there unless u dont answer them at all

hi Honest,
wish you the best for your upcoming interview.
I took up my part-1 in Dec and was called for an interview on 15 Apr.I hope I am not too late.Moreover, i got 88 on my part-1.Just keeping my fingers crossed.
In the meantime i would suggest you go through the Web Site for NYU coz' you would have a good know-how of what they have to offer and also to ask them in case you have any doubts about the program or the school.
On more thing is that we at SDN have an advantage of the interview feedback section like Tasha already mentioned.
The above with a positive attitude and a pleasing smile shall surely help.
