Hey princess, I was at SCCO this afternoon, too! Haha that's really funny. Were you by any chance the person sitting next to me when we first got there who'd also applied to Berkeley and SUNY?! 😀

Hey, I saw some SCCO interviewees getting a tour at the library today. I was sitting in the cubicle area. Best of luck with your interview results!

I interviewed this pass week as well. I was relieved after the interview but was dissappointed on how i did. Could've done better.

Are you guys going to call them to check the status on monday. Or wait for the letter to rip open? I'm still contemplating whether or not i want to find out over the phone.

I was there too! I'm definitely calling on monday. I'll drive myself crazy if I wait for the letter. I was really impressed with the clinic. What did you guys think? Better than other schools? Its only my first interview I've went to, but I LOVED it! Hehe (eye-loved-it.) Wow, I'm a dork.

You've gotta call! You don't want to be checking your inbox every five minutes. That's just torture! I hope we get in. Is it driving anybody else nuts thinking about what you could have said to sound better? I keep thinking, "If only I would have said......"

I dont know if this thread is still going on, but, WOW, congrads on you two future SCCOs, im very excited for you guys. I am going to SCCO this coming ssaturday for an interview, and reading the feedback and forums, im really nervous. Sounds like you gotta know a lot of optometry background and history. I just got accepted into ICO, but i think SCCO would be my first pick, got any tips????

BE YOURSELF and dont forget to smile =) they werent that bad AT ALL. i was so nervous going in and i admit, the professor interviewer TRIED to trap me a little but I answered everything to my best ability and ended up getting to know my interviewers on a whole other level. i found out we actually had common interests so it was actually a fun talk rather than an interview. as long as you know you want this and why you want this, you should be fine. remember, the best advice ppl gave me: BE YOURSELF. good luck!! blow them away!!!

Know a current event that is important to you. Know about the scope of optometry today. Know what your goals are and why SCCO is a good fit for you. I agree with princesspinknes. It wasn't hard to bring up more lighthearted topics as well. That makes the whole experience much more pleasant. Be sincere and ask good questions. Best of luck to you!

thanks a lot guys, ive been reading up on some of the history and just vision stuff in general, still nervous, but who wouldnt be. Well see how it goes, maybe ill join you two in the class of 2007 *cross fingers*
