I got my first ( hopefully of many) interview invite today- and in the SE too!

Since there is a chance I might not get another invite for a few weeks, how do you guys recommend scheduling? I am on the West coast right now, and applied to mostly programs in the SE. I want to minimize my travel time. I am thinking I might wait a week or so before responding to the invite?

That's terrific! I have been told to try this-- maybe call some other programs in the SE and tell them you have an interview at program X and since you are coming from the west coast, you would like to see if it is at all possible to schedule an interview around the same time...heard it works like a charm!
