Interviewing MD/PhD at My Undergraduate Institute

MD/PhD interview at my undergraduate institution (which I'm starting my senior year at). When they ask me to submit a list of faculty to meet, would it be inappropriate to list my current PI? I understand there's a potential conflict of interest, but the lab covers my research interests perfectly and I think it's a red flag if I don't mention that lab. (My PI also wrote a LOC if that helps)

Every institution is different, but in general it is not a problem. List your PI... if the LOR is strong, it will benefit a lot.
