Interviews and notifications?

Hey guys I have a few questions. How are all of you getting notified for your interviews? Phone calls, email, snail mail?

Also, how are interviews done? Are they like done by rounds where if you dont get an interview like a certain month or round you get it next round of apps? Thanks.

Some were sent via snail mails! (In my case, from CASE, NOVA, LOMA LINDA--> LLU AADSAS changed first)

A few were duplicate (first e-mail, then snail mail!) 🙂

how are interviews done in the sense like are 1000 apps screened and then like 200 are chosen for interviews then later on another 1000 get screened? like rounds?

they actually emailed me...

But as far as how the go through apps. Every school is different. Some Cali schools screen/use formulas to calculate a score based on GPA and DAT and have a cut off for getting secondary info request, then that all gets reviewed w/ you app for an interview invite. Others don't screen, but actually review everyone, first come first serve, etc.

Western - phone call

LLU - AADSAS update, then wait for snail mail to schedule

They told us the day we interviewed that we'd kno within a month whether or not or app will go to the next stage of the app cycle.... basically we get to kno if we'll be rejected or not.
