I am wondering what the applicant's chances of acceptance are if s/he has interviews after December. Do schools tend to pick from the people they had interviewed before Dec. 1st to make up their class for the new year?

I have one interview on Jan 16th, but have not heard from anyone else. And I wanted to get a sense on what is the likelihood of me getting acceptances if I were to get a few more interviews next year. Any thoughts/experiences to share?

Thanks.

I would also like to know this.....bump

it really depends school to school.
some schools will accept more than 50% on dec 1st, others will interview & accept later into the cycle.
so far i can only think of usc... it's somewhat slow in accepting ppl...

Someone posted recently that a UW presenter said they only accept 4-5 students in December. Don't know if that's true or common though.

it's said to be better pre-dec 1st because as acceptances go out on 12/1, your likelihood of getting one of those seats decreases, naturally.
and can i just add WAWAWEEWA to sunshine222 DAT's, nice job
