Interviews in January

I have several interviews scheduled in January.
Is it true that schools send admission letters starting from December?
Then do you guys think having an interview in January will lower my chances?

I think it does, but it probably also depends on the school. My Case interview isn't until march, and it's just for the alternate spot. But my UNLV interview is in Jan. and the lady I talked to on the phone made it sound like that wasn't too bad, but then she did say that they will have already mailed out some acceptance letters by then, so I know that some seats will already be taken. Then you look at NYU and I think I've only seen one person on here that has an interview there yet, so I imagine they are a little behind along with some others schools.

don't worry! people will still get accepted with interviews in January. plus....the people getting accepted around dec. 1st are getting a lot of acceptances (they got their app in early, interviewed at many schools early) and guess what? they can only go to one school, so spots will still be open!

yes, all of us who applied "late" wish we applied early, but don't lose your mind over this, i am certainly trying not to.

I called UCLA yesterday and the admissions lady told me. "Everyone has an equal chance up until March-April" because those are the last interview months. However, UCLA is just one example.

Your chances probably won't be as high but I don't think it will be "bad."

I had all of my interviews in January and still got into every one of them.

As hard as it is to do around this time around but RELAX. You'll get there.

Once you're in, you will hate every moment of it for the next two years.
