Does anyone know what the chances of being accepted are if you interview in October versus later in the game, ie. late Nov and later?

How big of a difference does it make to interview in October versus later? How quickly do seats fill up?

i would imagine that for rolling admission schools, earlier interviews=better chance at admissions. however, for non-rolling schools like HMS, i don't think there is much of a difference. if you do a search , there was a thread about this a few years ago regarding people who interviewed early in the game for HMS..from the responses on the thread it seemed that these "select" group of interviewees fared no better than later interviewees in terms of admissions rates for HMS. hope this helps!

october vs. later really depends on the school. for the non-rolling it won't matter. for the rolling, the earlier the better, though i don't think interviewing in early december vs. october is that much of a detriment. the problem comes with schools who fill up their classes early, like loyola. they fill it up in december sometime, so you will be waitlisted if you interview after that there. most schools don't start filling up their classes until the spring sometime, so a jan/feb interview won't hurt you too much at those schools. you're probably more likely to get waitlisted if you interview in march or april at most schools.
