ahhh.. had my last interview yesterday.. feels pretty damn good. If anyone wants to chat about ranking ny area programs, perhaps this post could spur some good info.

So what's your top NY program, Roman?

top 4 will be: cornell, nyu, umdnj, ny eye & ear.. i've got 2 figure out the order still... and the person asking is.....?

Why Cornell over NYU? I thought that Cornell's clinical volume and surgical numbers were pretty low compared to the other programs.

i merely said they were in my top 4, but not in any order.. not sure who will be on top at this point..

what do u guys think about the less known programs in NYC like Bronx-lebanon. St. Lukes, LIJ, Northshore, Downstate. For the most part, I haven't interviewed in the top NY programs but had the above interviews and have a tough time seperating them. They seem to be very similar, esp. the first 4. Thanks.

I agree & think the programs u mentioned r very similar. st lukes might be a touch more attractive w/ de la rocca & location.. otherwise, very similar.

Hey Roman, its Gena, we met at UMDNJ and NS/LIJ do u have aim. Will be easier to talk and discuss the programs. Doesn't rock to be done with interviews!?
